Hiroshi is an actor, who always plays supporting roles and lives in the shadow of his famous playwright father. Often mistaken for someone else, even occasionally for a kidnapper, Hiroshi struggles daily with his marginalized existence. But one day, Hiroshi’s luck changes. He meets his muse, an aspiring actress Aya, who doesn't mistake him for anyone else. Hiroshi falls for Aya head over heels. Through his struggle to court Aya and to land the lead role of his dreams, Hiroshi confronts his father and tries to play the lead in his own life.
